All spelling practice data — profiles, progress, streaks, and word lists — is stored locally on your device only and never transmitted anywhere.

🎙️ Microphone & Voice Recognition

Spellora uses your device's microphone to listen to spelling attempts during practice sessions.

• Audio is processed on your device only using Apple's Speech framework
• Audio is never recorded, stored, or transmitted off the device
• Voice recognition requires microphone permission, which you can revoke at any time in iOS Settings
• No voice data is sent to Spellora or any third party

📊 Analytics

Spellora uses TelemetryDeck, a privacy-first analytics tool, to understand how the app is used and improve the experience.

• TelemetryDeck collects anonymised usage signals only (e.g. "a session was started")
• No personally identifiable information is ever collected
• Data is not linked to any user identity
• Data is never used for advertising or tracking
• TelemetryDeck is fully COPPA compliant

👶 Children's Privacy

Spellora is designed for children and takes children's privacy very seriously.

• No accounts, names, email addresses, or personal identifiers are required
• Child profiles are stored locally on device only
• No child data is ever transmitted or shared
• Spellora complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

🤝 Third-Party Services

Spellora uses only the following third-party service:

• TelemetryDeck — privacy-first analytics (anonymised, no personal data)
• Apple Speech Framework — on-device voice recognition only
